About Us

Built for Clintonville

A clear, telehealth-first path into Ohio's medical cannabis program

What This Site Does

Think of ClintonvilleCannabis.Clinic as the front door, not the doctor's office. We schedule your telehealth visit and lay out what Ohio's program actually requires, but the medical evaluation itself, and every decision that comes out of it, belongs entirely to the independent physician you meet with. Nothing here is a dispensary, a pharmacy, or a clinic in the traditional sense — it's a scheduling and information layer sitting in front of Ohio-licensed providers.

Three Things Worth Knowing

No Rubber Stamps

Physicians here hold an active Certificate to Recommend and are expected to conduct a real evaluation. A recommendation isn't guaranteed — it depends on your actual health history.

Built for the Time You Have

A single video appointment, scheduled around your day, replaces what used to mean multiple in-person visits before Ohio expanded telehealth access.

Nothing Leaves This Site Unsecured

Visits run on HIPAA-compliant video platforms. What you discuss with your physician stays between you and them.

What Happens After You Book

Your appointment connects you with an Ohio-licensed MD or DO carrying an active Certificate to Recommend. If your condition matches one on Ohio's qualifying list — a list that's grown several times since 2019 to include cancer, PTSD, epilepsy, and chronic pain, among others — your physician can issue a recommendation. That recommendation is only step one: you then register directly with the state through the Ohio Patient & Caregiver Registry, a process that currently costs $0.01 and requires proof of Ohio residency. Once issued, your card holds for a year before renewal comes around. None of this happens automatically or instantly — each step depends on your physician's judgment and the state's own processing. Full program details sit with the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control, not with us.

Where the Money Comes From

We're upfront about this: physicians and telehealth partners pay us for patient referrals and marketing, the same way most healthcare directories work. That funding has zero influence on any physician's clinical judgment — the details live in our Advertising Disclosure. Got a question we haven't answered here? The contact form on our Terms & Policies page reaches us directly.
